Consultation meeting – come and have your say!

Warwickshire residents are being urged to have their say at their local consultation meeting about the proposals within Warwickshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service improvement plan.

Since the launch of the consultation on 14th September 2009, 117 residents have officially had their say through the consultation process.

Chief Fire Officer, Paul Fuller said:
“We hope that residents in Warwickshire will come along to the consultation meeting to have their say about how these proposals affect the area where they live. However, with numerous campaigns being run through the local press and social networking sites, residents appear to be forgetting to have their views heard by completing the consultation document.  All responses to the consultation need to be received before the closing date of 8th December 2009 in order to be considered.”
