Children will learn about their own heritage and traditions and what influences them.

Activities include:

The project will involve many activities to promote multi-cultural education in schools and the wider community. After the event displays including art work, film and photographs will be displayed on the internet and in public places so that the wider community can also benefit.
The project has received funding from the Coleshill Grammar School Foundation, Coleshill Town Council, ICSS, CMS and Cluster funding from Extended Services.
Cllr Izzi Seccombe, portfolio holder for Children, Young People and Families with Warwickshire County Council, said:
“The project will increase children’s access to, and understanding of, different cultures. The activities are all taking place in our locality with the whole community working together to promote cultural diversity and community cohesion.
"It is another fine example of how a school can extend its role in the local community to not only raise the attainment of its pupils but to bring together and develop the community.”
