Interview skills for Atherstone pupils

Year 11 students from Queen Elizabeth School will this week be having the luxury of a ‘Practice Interview’ with local business representatives.

The three day event, over the 14, 15 and 16 October, will see school pupils put through the interview process by real business people.

They will previously have received a Student Guidance Pack which explains the purpose of the interview and gives the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.

The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, who organise various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.

Local businesses attending to interview the students include Warwickshire Police, Jaguar Land Rover, DHL Exel, North Warks & Hinckley College & the Army.
