Manor Park Careers for U
Year 11 students from Manor Park Community School and Specialist Arts College will tomorrow be taking part in a ‘Careers 4 U’ event.
Organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, the event is aimed at providing students with an insight into different careers, which may help them to make more informed decisions about their immediate futures.
The students will have the benefit of hearing from business representatives from companies such as:- Cartwright Marston, Twycross Zoo, Lester Dixon & Jeffcoate Solicitors, Co-operative Funeral Services, W Smith & Sons, Warwickshire Police, George Eliot Hospital and the Armed Forces.
The visitors will talk to small groups of students about their job roles, qualifications required, entry routes, and career progression opportunities.
The students will have the opportunity to ask questions and to gain as much information as possible as well as taking part in various activities based around widening their knowledge of different career choices and labour market information.
