Hallowe’en high spirits at Kingsbury
Ghost walks, a haunted train ride and plenty of other spooky goings on are guaranteed to raise a shiver this Hallowe’en.
As darkness falls on Friday and Saturday 30 and 31 October, the ghoulish times will unfold at Kingsbury Water Park in North Warwickshire.
The Ghost Walks on Friday and Saturday night from 6.00pm are sure to get spines tingling as the park stays open into the hours of darkness until 9pm (last entry 8pm).
Paula Cheesman, Warwickshire County Council’s Country Parks Visitor Manager, said: “We will have a spooky guided trail around the park with untold horrors and scares along the way, and ghostly games for you to try so come along – if you dare!”
In addition Ghost Train Rides will be running from 11am to 5pm for those who don’t like the dark, with prizes for the best costume. For those who like things a bit more frightening, then the train will be running after dark from 6pm to 9pm last entry will be 8.00pm and the ride costs £1 per person. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring a torch or Halloween lantern and come in fancy dress if you want to be in with a chance to win a prize. The coffee shop will be open for some toe curling refreshment and the gift shop will also be open so you can take a gift back for those who were too scared to come.
No need to book, just turn up on the day. A fun-filled event for all the family, and the only cost is a £3 car parking charge.
