Respect Yourself website seeks young people’s views
Warwickshire’s Respect Yourself Campaign is celebrating the first anniversary of it’s new look website by asking young people for their views.
The site, http://www.respectyourself.info, offers a range of information on relationships and sexual health including contraception, Sexually Transmitted Infections and pregnancy.
Since its re-launch 12 months ago, there have been 8,500 page visits a month on average – up 120 per cent during the same time in 2008.
Now the team behind the Warwickshire County Council-run service is encouraging young people to take part in an anonymous visitor survey to see what they think and find out more about the services they are likely to use in the future.
Helen Fielden, Warwickshire’s Respect Yourself Campaign co-ordinator, said: “The re-vamped website has enjoyed a large number of visits over the last 12 months and we hope it has been a very useful resource for everyone who has logged on so far.
“We want to ensure this success continues by providing the most up to date information that young people want to look at and to make sure it is in an accessible format.
“We hope the results of the survey will go someway to achieving this and could help shape services across Warwickshire in the future.”
