Climb on board

Established and would-be bus users alike are being invited to have their say on how they believe things could be improved and also learn more about bus services.

Warwickshire County Council will be holding a consultation event in Market Place, near the Clock Tower in Rugby, on Tuesday, November 17, from 11am until 2pm.

The event is taking place in partnership with the Bus User UK Group, & Stagecoach, it will offer bus users a chance to chat with representatives from Warwickshire County Council, Rugby Borough Council and the key operators in the area.

The event will take place on a Stagecoach bus which will be parked in Market Place. The consultation will also enable people to find out more about timetables and the bus services available.

Cllr Alan Cockburn, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment, said: “I’d urge as many people as possible to get along to this event and air their views on bus services.

“Warwickshire County Council works extremely hard with bus companies to ensure the best possible service is provided.’’
