The Community Forum will be held on Thursday 21 January at Baginton Village Hall, Frances Road, starting at 7pm. The meeting is open to anyone living in Cubbington, Blackdown, Old Milverton, Bubbenhall, Wappenbury, Weston, Eathorpe, Offchurch, Hunningham, Radford Semele, Stoneleigh and the surrounding areas.

Janet White from the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) will discuss their application to become a Foundation Trust and what that means for everyone.

Other topics to be discussed include the awarding of grants to local groups, the launch of Central Warwickshire LEADER, and how groups can apply for money for their projects.

Residents can also hear the latest on policing in their local area and officers from Warwickshire Police will feed back on issues raised at earlier surgeries.

If residents have a specific concern or problem, they are invited to drop in to one-to-one surgery before the main meeting, from 6.30pm to 7pm, where they will be able to speak to their local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team, Councillors and officers from Warwickshire County Council and Warwick District Council. 

Sergeant Gary Holtby, Team Leader for the Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “We value your attendance and input at these forums. Knowing the issues affecting the community enables us to deal with them as effectively as possible.”

Community Forums are interactive events enabling residents to learn about any issue, big or small, affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.
