Discover cycling at Ryton
Last weekend saw the launch of a trial at Ryton Pools Country Park offering visitors the chance to hire a bicycle.
From Saturday (20 February) the Café at Ryton Pools is carrying out the trial to establish whether there is a demand for bike hire at Ryton Pools.
The Café currently has a small number of bikes to hire out including two children’s bikes and will be operating the bike hire during their Café opening times. Cycle hire starts from just £4 per hour.

There are excellent surfaced paths for cycling in and around the park, or for something more challenging try the 16 mile mountain bike challenge, which starts from the park using a combination of roads and bridleways.
