Outstanding praise for Kenilworth Nursery
Government inspectors have given Kenilworth Nursery School a glowing report, stating that the nursery ‘provides an excellent quality of education for children’.
Ofsted visited the nursery school on Bertie Road in Kenilworth last month and judged the setting, which accommodates 80 pre-school children, to be outstanding in most areas of inspection.
They highlighted the excellent progress the children make at the nursery with attainment exceeding the expectations for their age group in almost all areas of learning.
They also noted the children’s exemplary behaviour, the high quality of adult interactions with the children to assist learning, and the outstanding care, guidance and support offered by staff to all pupils.
The individual attention and support at the setting is also highly valued by parents who were interviewed by the inspectors. stressing that they spoke for many the report cited one parent’s comments which echoed the opinions of many ‘we are delighted with our children’s excellent progress and also with the support we receive as parents’.
Acting Headteacher Rachel Gillett said: “The nursery staff, our parents and governors are all so delighted with this report from Ofsted. I am particularly pleased that the inspectors recognised how well everyone at the nursery works together noting our continued drive to be better and the good involvement of the governing body, our strong teamwork and staff’s expert knowledge.”
