Easter fun in Bedworth

Creativity is the key for young people in Bedworth over the Easter holidays, thanks to Warwickshire County Council’s Youth and Community Service.

Two weeks of free activities have been lined up for 13 to 19-year-olds at Bedworth Youth and Community Centre (the Crox and Heath) between 30 March and 8 April, including:

Art Alert Paint and Drumming Workshops on Tuesday 30 March, Wednesday 31 March and Tuesday 6 April from 1.30pm to 4.30pm; the Youth Club will also be open on those evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm; and a trip to Water World in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday 7 April.

A special junior youth club will be operating on Thursday 8 April for 10 to 13-year-olds featuring a range of activities such as games, arts and crafts and music.

Matt Mancini, Locality Co-ordinator for Warwickshire County Council’s Youth and Community Service, said: “Our free activity sessions offer young people somewhere to go and something to do in a safe environment over the Easter holidays.

“They encourage friendship building, creativity and team work and are a great insight in to the regular sessions held at the youth centre.”
