Pupils challenged to get enterprising

Pupils at Warwick’s Round Oak School are this week being challenged to discover whether their green-fingered skills could in the future lead to a business idea.

On Thursday, 4 March, Round Oak School will be hosting an Enterprise Challenge Event which will involve Key stage 4 pupils.
The pupils will take part in fun tasks aimed at developing their teamwork, communication and organisational skills as well as using their enterprise skills, including creativity & innovation.

Their main task will be to design and promote a new garden area as part of their school grounds, including presenting their ideas at the end of the session.

They will be helped by representatives from local businesses, who will be on hand to point them in the right direction.

The event has been organised by Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, which aims to help better prepare youngsters for the world of work.
