Cycle training’s a cracking Easter idea
Parents and children are being urged to dust off their bikes this Easter and discover the freedom and enjoyment to be had from cycling.
More and more youngsters are turning to cycling as a healthy and sustainable alternative to the car for travelling to and from school.
And Warwickshire County Council’s Road Safety team are offering children the opportunity to learn valuable cycling skills over the Easter holiday.
Courses are available throughout the county with Nuneaton area courses taking place at Manor Park School.
For those aged 9 years and over (in Year 5 or above) a Bikeability Level 2 course is running on Wednesday and Thursday 7 and 8 April from 9.30am 12.30pm. This course is conducted on the road, includes an assessment and costs £24 per pupil.
Pupils successfully completing the course will receive a certificate and badge.
