Choice of holiday activities for young people
An action-packed fortnight of activities is on offer for young people across Warwickshire during the Easter holidays.
Warwickshire County Council’s Positive about Young People programme is working with partners to deliver free activities for 8 to 19-year-olds from 29 March to 9 April (excluding bank holidays).
Sport, arts and crafts, bowling, performance, dancing, kayaking, IT, cooking, games and den building are examples of some of the activities available at sessions around the county. To find out specific activities or locations, visit http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/payp.
Stephen Davenport, Development Team Manager for the Positive about Young People programme, said: “Working with our partners countywide, Positive about Young People is running a number of free, varied activities to keep young people occupied and active over the Easter break.
“It also gives them a chance to do something positive for the community while widening their educational and social skills.
“Parents and young people often tell us how useful these sessions are and how they have been thoroughly enjoyed by participants.”
