North Leamington gets its say

Community safety, youth activities, grants for local projects and more will be on the agenda at the next meeting of the North Leamington Community Forum on Thursday 18 March.

The forum will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Leicester Street, from 6pm.

The meeting is open to all North Leamington residents. Community Forums are regular public meetings that allow you to raise issues or local concerns and are a way of keeping you up-to-date with what is happening in YOUR community.

From 6pm there will be hot cross buns and drinks for all who attend, and residents will be able to find out all about the activities and projects that are led by and involve young people across North Leamington, when local youth groups take to the floor.

Local people will be able to have their say on what the local Safer Neighbourhood and Community Safety teams should focus their efforts on in the local area over the next few months.

Residents will also be able to find out about the local projects that have requested funding from the North Leamington Community Forum and have the chance to give their views.

Since the last Community Forum meeting, there have been a number of positive outcomes, including community activities in partnership with local schools, the refurbishment of Crown Way, and outcomes from the Wallsgrove Close consultation.
