Care Home celebrates inspection success

Staff at a Warwickshire County Council Care Home are celebrating after a recent inspection by CQC (Care Quality Commission).

Mayfield Care Home for Older People in Bedworth has been recognised as improving standards across the board, including areas such as careplans, activities and the environment – which was described as ‘very homely’.

Dawn Johnson, Mayfield Care Home manager said:  “We are thrilled with the result, and achieving an ‘excellent rating’ for our activities reflects the hard work and dedication of Sarah Munn, our Activities Co-ordinator, to ensure that residents are offered a wide variety of activities and have the opportunity to have a full and active social life.”

Strategic Director of Adult Services, Graeme Betts, congratulated the staff at Mayfield, and thanked them for their hard work and commitment.

Steve Smith,  service development manager added:  “This is a result to be proud of and reflects the ongoing work and commitment of the staff team to keep striving to raise standards for our customers.”

Mayfield can accommodate up to 20 residents and has ten Day Care Places. For more information contact Dawn Johnson on 024 76313600.
