Makeover for Bedworth Library
Bedworth Library is closing for a makeover on Monday April 19 and will reopen on Monday May 10 much improved.
Customers will see quite a difference after the three-week closure, with improvements including a new children’s library, new layout and carpet and new lending stock. On top of all that, self-service check-out equipment is being introduced for quicker and easier borrowing and returns.
Bedworth Library is holding a coffee morning on Friday April 9, from 9.30am to 11.30am, when staff will be available to answer people’s questions and explain more about the makeover.
Bedworth Heath and Bulkington Libraries will be open longer hours while the one in High Street, Bedworth is closed for alterations.
Divisional Library Manager David Reed said: “We apologise for any inconvenience that this temporary closure causes. However, the improvements being made will make Bedworth Library even better, and I’m confident local people will approve when they see what’s been done.”
