Water sports and more at Kingsbury this Easter
Climbing, windsurfing and kayaking are some of the activities on offer for young people at Kingsbury Water Park Outdoor Education Centre this Easter.
As part of Warwickshire County Council’s Outdoor Activity Programme, 8 to 15-year-olds have the opportunity to take part in up to four days of fun between Tuesday 6 April and Friday 9 April from 10am until 3pm.
All activities – which also include archery, sailing, off-road biking, raft building and an ‘It’s a knockout’ challenge – are run by fully qualified instructors and safety equipment is provided. All young people are fully supervised throughout the day.
It will cost £22 per person per day, or a concessionary rate is available at £80 if taking part in all four days.
Annette Warrender, Deputy Head of Kingsbury Water Park Outdoor Education Centre, said: “The Easter break gives young people the chance to enjoy the fantastic facilities we have at Kingsbury and to try something they may not otherwise have done.
“Not only is this a fun way of learning it can be incredibly rewarding, and may even introduce participants in to something they would like to continue as a hobby in the future.”
