Rosie’s books are something to shout about
The fundraising evening, originally due to take place at the Bedworth Christian Centre, Bulkington Road, Bedworth on Saturday 10th April, is now being rearranged for a later date. Anyone who has tickets can contact Jayne Watson on 02476399093.
A fantastic family evening with the Shout Gospel Choir and local musicians promises to be a night to remember, plus you could win a signed book from Nuneaton’s best selling local authoress Rosie Goodwin.
It is planned that the event will be taking place early summer with ticket prices standing at £6, including refreshments. Watch this space for more information.
Rosie Goodwin has given a welcome boost to the event by donating two signed books, which will raise funds for the Camp Hill Children’s Holiday Scheme and these will be raffled on the evening.
Event organiser, Jayne Watson, said: “We really appreciate the support that Rosie gives to the fundraising efforts of the group, here in Camp Hill. It really helps to raise the profile of the hard work of the volunteers. We are rearranging the date to early summer and our plans are well underway for a super evening of entertainment, packed with talent that will appeal to all ages. We are all really looking forward to it.”
The 23 piece gospel choir and accompanying musicians has been running since 2004 and are based in Stratford upon Avon. The band is made up of people from different ages and diverse backgrounds, the only things that joins the people together is the music which transcends all differences.
The Camp Hill Children’s Holiday Scheme gives disadvantaged young people aged between 7 & 11yrs old, from the Camp Hill area, on fully supervised holidays during the school summer break.
