Go wild this half term in North Warwickshire

Warwickshire County Council’s Heritage Education will be running some great family activities in Coleshill and Polesworth this May half term where you can learn all about the wild animals that once roamed Warwickshire’s forests.

Did you know bears, wolves, wild boar and other animals used to live in your back garden? On Friday 4 June, find out all about Warwickshire’s really wild natural history and make a dancing animal of your own to take home.

Families are invited to join these fun and friendly animal activities, which are all drop-in events, so no advance booking is necessary.

Both sessions run on Friday 4 June, at Coleshill Library from 10.00am—12.00noon and at Pooley Park Visitor Centre, Polesworth from 2.00pm—4.00pm. This activity costs £2.50 per child, 5s and under £1. All ages are welcome but 8s and under must be accompanied by an adult.

You can find out more about these events and many others at: http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/heritageeducation or by telephone on 01926 412069.
