Celebrate two years to the Olympics!

With only two years to go until the 2012 Olympics come to the UK, people in Warwick are being given the opportunity to get active this weekend with a special programme of Olympic-themed events!

To celebrate, Warwick District Council have organised a number of activities, most of which are free-of-charge, at St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre, Banbury Road, Warwick, running over three days from Friday (23rd July) to Sunday (25th July).

They include tennis, five-a-side football, a basketball hoop challenge, roller disco, parachute, tag rugby and lots more. Under 16s will be able to swim for free all weekend. The activities will run between 10am and 3pm each day.

Friday 23rd July

Tennis all day
Five-a-side football 10am-3pm - bring your team along and start the weekend early!
Under 16’s swim for free all weekend!

Saturday 24th July

Basketball hoop challenge 10am-12noon

Fitness testing 10am - 12noon
Five-a-side 10am-3pm
Class taster session: Fit ‘n’ Funky 11.30am-12.30noon
Roller Disco - half price late skate 7.30pm-9pm, £2, Family skate 5.30pm-7pm, £4 (plus £1 skate hire)

• Hire of equipment free of charge, a £5.00 deposit will be required.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Bookings taken 6 days in advance from 9.30am (booking not required for face painting, bouncy castle & Parachute games).
