The event, which is being run by Warwickshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service, will run from 10am to 4pm at Rugby Fire Station, Corporation Street, Saturday 14 August. The aim of the day is to help your local firefighters to raise money for the National Firefighters Charity.

Those attending will be able to see and take part in a wide range of activities including rides around the town in a converted fire engine (Coventry Hire Brigade), bouncy castle, donkey rides, fire service demonstrations, boat display, entertainment from G Force Martial Arts, Street dance workshops featuring Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Zack Webb, crime safety advice, fire safety advice, community stalls and much, much more.

Food and refreshments will also be available throughout the day.

Watch Manager, Keith McDermott said: “This is an event that all of the family can enjoy. There will be lots of activities going on throughout the day including fire service demonstrations, a chance to have a look at our boat unit, a bouncy castle and donkey rides.

"Proceeds from the day will be split between the national Firefighters Charity and a local charity. There will also be an opportunity to win a mountain bike for 50p, so please come along and join in what should be a real community event for people of all ages to enjoy!”
