If you go down to the woods today
Wellesbourne families will be in for a big surprise at a Wellies Children’s Centre fun day on Sunday 19 September.
The centre, due to open a permanent base at Wellesbourne library later this year, is inviting local families to come along to a teddy bears picnic held at Wellesbourne Primary School on Mountford Road between 12pm and 2pm.
Everyone is asked to wear their wellies and bring along their favourite teddy to join in the fun.
There will be lots in store for the afternoon including arts, crafts and games and goody bags.
Wellies is one of 40 Warwickshire County Council Children’s Centres which all offer a range of play, health and family support services tailored to the needs of local families with babies and children up to the age of five.
Centre Manager Debbie Muitt said: “The fun day next week will offer an opportunity for local families to come and find out about the wide range of services on offer at the centre.”
