Twitpics from space… and Warwickshire!

Warwickshire County Council has joined the millions of people and organisations around the world that use social media tool Twitpic to tweet their photos to their Twitter followers…

As reported in the Telegraph this week, Twitpic users include Douglas H. Wheelock, also know as @Astro_Wheels on Twitter, an astronaut aboard the International Space Station who tweets spectacular views of the earth from space to his followers. (See news story link below)

The photos tweeted by Warwickshire County Council’s news team (@wcc_news) may not be as spectacular as this astronaut’s amazing images of the galaxy, but they do provide a snapshot of views from around the county – accompanied by the latest news stories.
