Community Forums in Bedworth
Community Forums provide an opportunity for local people to shape the future of the area in which they live and residents of Bedworth will soon have their chance to have a say.
The forums are a chance for people to raise their concerns with service providers and discuss actions to address them.
Both the Bedworth North and West and Bede and Poplar Community Forums take place during September and local residents are urged to come along. Present at the meetings will be Borough and County Councillors and representatives from Warwickshire Police.
The Bedworth North and West forum takes place on Monday 20 September at 6:30pm and will be held at Bedworth Heath Leisure and Activity Centre.
The Bede and Poplar forum takes place on Tuesday 28 September at 7pm and will be held at Bedworth Ex-Servicemen’s Club.
As well as general items, such as feedback on previous issues raised, residents can put forward any topic of concern that they feel needs to be addressed. This could be parking issues, problems with service delivery or specific matters such as the possible proposed front desk closure of Bedworth Police station.
Community Forums take place on a quarterly basis and there are seven across Nuneaton and Bedworth to ensure the issues raised and tackled are specific to the local area. Further information on Community Forums can be found at:
