Bus service diversions in Lillington
Due to major sewer upgrade works by Severn Trent, Lime Avenue in Lillington will be closed for up to five months starting on 4 October 2010.
The road will be closed to through traffic from its junction with the Lillington Road / Leicester Lane roundabout to its junction with Kinross Road. The closure will prevent bus services using Lime Avenue on their normal route.
The Stagecoach Service 67 which operates every 15 minutes will use the following alternative route.
From Crown Way it will use Cubbington Road and Telford Avenue as usual but instead of turning left into Montrose Avenue it will continue and turn left into Leicester Lane, continuing on into Lillington Road and then turn left into Cubbington Road and right into Crown Way to resume its normal route. Stagecoach will establish a temporary bus stop on a lamp column near to the Sandy Lane island.
The A & M Service 69 will from Crown Way use Cubbington Road, Telford Avenue and Leicester Lane to resume its normal route on Lillington Road. The route will be reversed for the service from the Lillington Road to Crown Way.
