Big on Play in Warwick

Thanks to progress made through the Community Forum, identifying play area developments as being important to children and young people living in Warwick, fantastic new play equipment has completed the improvements to the Priory Pools, Scarbank and Bluebells play areas.

The design of the play areas follows on from extensive consultation programme with children young people and their parents living in Warwick West and Warwick North.

The new play areas provide amongst other things, exciting state of the art equipment that can be used by children and young people of all ages and abilities.

Cllr Moira Anne Grainger, Chair of the Warwick Community Forum and Warwick North Councillor said: “I am delighted that we have been able to improve these play areas. Play is an important part of learning and it also encourages children and young people to play outside and take part in healthy physical activity”.
