Find out about plans for Stratford Library
Stratford Library is set for a makeover and an information session is being held to help you find out more about the refurbishment
The next session is being held on Monday 4 October, with afternoon tea, from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.
In order to carry out the improvements the library will be closing at 4.00pm on Sunday 10 October and reopening again at 9.00am on Thursday 28 October 2010.
The refurbishment will include the installation of new state-of-the-art self service machines that will give customers the opportunity to borrow, return and renew books themselves.
Tanya Butchers, Divisional Library Manager for Warwickshire County Council, said:
”We are very excited about the proposed new look for Stratford Library. We hope that all everyone will appreciate that we need to close for this short period to enable all this to happen and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“Customers can borrow or return library items at any Warwickshire library and renewals can be done on the phone, by email or online 24 hours a day but we will also have a drop off box available outside the library”
Renewals can be made via our automated 24/7 renewal line, available 24 hours a day - call 01926 499273 or by email to any of the larger libraries or online at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries
