Changes to Sydenham buses
Changes will be made to local bus services during the closure of Gainsborough Drive on Sydenham Estate for three days between 10 and 12 November.
The road will be closed north from the junction with Calder Walk for around 450m to allow carriageway repair and resurfacing works. Preparatory work will be carried out from November 1 to November 9, and traffic will be controlled by lights during this period.
This work will affect the route taken by the Travel Coventry 12 bus service and both the U1 Unibus and 67 bus services operated by Stagecoach.
During the three day closure, both the 12 & U1 buses from Prospect Road can only use Sydenham Drive and will resume their normal route past the shopping precinct to the Radford Road traffic lights.
Passengers should use either the bus shelter stop near the junction with Berrington Road or the bus stop near to St. Mary RC Primary School.
The 67 buses will also be limited to only using Sydenham Drive between the Radford Road traffic lights and the Chesterton Drive / Prospect Road island. Passengers can use the bus stop lay-by near to The Sycamores.
