Wreath making in Warwick

People can get crafty this Christmas with a festive workshop from Warwickshire County Council’s Heritage Education team.

Professional florist Kerry Power will be teaching people how to make their own Christmas wreath at a special course on Saturday 4 December. The session will demonstrate the skills needed to make a beautiful, hand-made wreath and runs from 10am to 4pm in the Wattlewood Room at St John’s Museum in Warwick.

The course caused £25, all the materials will be provided for you and refreshments will also be available. Spaces are limited so booking is essential. People should contact Heritage Education on 01926 412069 to reserve a place.

Rebecca Williams, Heritage Education’s Audience Development Officer for Community said: “This workshop will be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to create their own unique Christmas wreaths and to add a personal touch to their seasonal decorations.”

The event is part of Heritage Education’s year-round ‘Outlook’ programme of events for adults, which includes a range of friendly and informative talks, walks, workshops that celebrate and share Warwickshire’s rich history. ‘Outlook’ leaflets can be found in all libraries and Tourist Information Centres around the county, or you can join the mailing list by contacting Heritage Education direct on 01926 412069 or visiting http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/heritageeducation
