A spectacular series of events

Around 1000 young people from across the county are tuning up for a series of high profile performances at Warwick Arts Centre’s Butterworth Hall later this month.

The internationally recognised concert venue will host three County Music Service spectaculars featuring a range of performances from the county’s youth groups and offering something for everyone’s musical tastes.

Warwickshire’s choirs take to the stage for the first concert at 7pm on Sunday 28 November. The Youth Chorale, junior and senior County Boys’ and County Girls’ choirs are all set to sing and ‘Siren City’ from the county’s Rock and Pop Institute will also perform a number or two.

The concert at 7pm on Monday 29 November will offer something special for fans of string and orchestral groups who will deliver a varied programme of well-know pieces from the classical to contemporary repertoire

Last but not least, the final performance at 7pm on Tuesday 30 November will see youngsters from the county’s wind, brass and percussion groups come together to perform a musical repertoire featuring music by Rossini, Elgar and John Williams amongst others.

Tickets for each performance cost £7 for adults and £4 for concessions. For booking call 01926 742630 or email janclarke@warwickshire.gov.uk.
