Handmade and individual crafts are now on display, and for sale, at Warwickshire Museum’s winter exhibition ‘Fine and unique’.
The work on display in the museum’s newly refurbished Pedlar’s Gallery includes art, jewellery, and clothing, made by 19 artists and craftspeople from England and Wales.
Emma House, Museum Designer, carefully chose the exhibiting artists to give a diverse range of items which will appeal to a broad spectrum of visitors - and all the people on their Christmas present lists.
She said: “It will be a vibrant and colourful show with everything on display for sale and available to take away on the day. There should be something that will appeal to all tastes and with prices starting at £1.50, all pockets.”
Visitors to the gallery will find etchings and watercolours, glass jewellery, textile bags for children and adults, scarves and gloves to lamps, tealight holders, Zen Calligraphy, ceramics and silver jewellery, handmade Christmas cards and much more.
The gallery in Market Place, Warwick is open 10am - 5pm Tuesday - Saturday, and admission is free. The ‘Fine and Unique’ exhibition runs until 15 January offering the perfect opportunity for a spot of Christmas shopping and retail therapy to beat the post-Christmas blues.
