Community Forums on YouTube

A YouTube video explaining how residents can have their say on local issues in Warwickshire as part of their local Community Forum is now available.

The video is available to view on Warwickshire County Council’s official YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/warwickshirecc.

The video features footage from a meeting of the Warwick Community Forum, as well as images from other forum meetings around the county.

Community Forums are regular public meetings that enable local residents to raise issues or concerns and are a way of keeping people up-to-date with what is happening in their community.

The YouTube video explains what community forums are, who attends, what sorts of issues are discussed and how local residents can get involved.

The video is also available to view on the County Council’s website at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/communityforums.

YouTube is just one of a number of free, new channels that the County Council is using to communicate with residents.

The council also has Twitter accounts, including a popular news service (twitter.com/wcc_news) and a brand new Warwickshire Direct Twitter service (twitter.com/warksdirect), which has all the latest information on council services in the county.
