Residents get say on youth clubs & more

Youth support services, changes to policing in Warwickshire and more will be on the agenda at the next meeting of the North Leamington Community Forum on Thursday 3 February.

The Forum will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Leicester Street, Leamington Spa from 5.45pm.

Residents will also hear all about what the Forum has done for the community so far and play a part in influencing what it does in 2011, by saying what they want the Forum to focus on in the year ahead and where to spend its money in North Leamington.

There will be a ‘market place’ of themed stands where people can discuss issues of importance to them and their community covering topics such as health, jobs, community safety, young and older people.

The Community Forum meeting is open to all residents living in North Leamington and will be chaired by Town Councillor Robert Cunliffe.

Community Forums are regular public meetings that allow you to raise issues or local concerns and are a way of keeping you up-to-date with what is happening in YOUR community.

There will be update on progress on priorities set for the police at the October Forum from the North Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Attendees will also be able to decide which community projects have the ‘X-Factor’, as applicants to the Community Forum’s Grant Fund will be putting their bids to the Forum vote.

If you would like to suggest an issue for a future Community Forum meeting, or get involved, please contact the Warwick District Community Partnership Team on 01926 456102 or email warwick@warwickshire.gov.uk.
