Southam Library to close for improvements
Southam Library and Information Centre will close at 7pm next Thursday 14th April whilst self-service machines and improved lighting are installed and other alterations are made to the centre’s layout.
The centre, which offers a range of services of both the county and the district council, re-opens at 9am on Tuesday 10th May. When it re-opens, customers will also be able to report enquiries to Warwickshire Police.
In the interim weeks, library customers can borrow additional items, use other libraries with Leamington, Warwick and Harbury being the nearest, renew online or use the 24 hour renewal line.
Tanya Butchers, divisional manager for Warwickshire Libraries said: “We apologise to all the library and information centre’s many customers. We ask that they bear with us; in a few weeks there will be improvements for library users and for customers accessing the Warwickshire Direct services.”
