Chamber Music Concert
Four finalists from the Warwickshire Early Music Academy Recorder & Viol Competition will be performing two concertos by Telemann at a unique Chamber Music Concert at St Nicholas Church, Warwick later this month.
The soloists will be backed by Warwickshire County Youth Orchestra Chamber Strings, with participation from other County Music Service groups, Warwickshire Youth Orchestra String Quartet, Wind Quintet and Cello Ensemble. Music from the Time of Francis Drake, performed by the County Viol Consort (‘Gutted!’), will add a further dimension to what is likely to be a highly enjoyable evening for all.
The concert starts at 7.30pm on Saturday 14 May. Tickets are available on the door priced at £7 adults, £1 children or £3 concessions.
